Hello and welcome to the Tit4Tat skills exchange site.

Once you have joined our network you can create a profile for yourself to give a general introduction to who you are and what skills you may be able to offer somebody else. Also I would recommend including information about any broad interests you may have which could then prompt someone reading your profile to identify potential areas of exchange between the two of you.

Once you're all set up you can then browse the different discussions in the forum section of this site and enter a post or a few posts suggesting skills you are interested in swapping. The different discussions have been started to try and organise peoples skills into separate areas but if you feel you have a skill to offer which doesn't fit into any of these please feel free to start a new one!

You can then message each other and arrange your swap through the site by visiting the persons profile and clicking "send a message".

Fingers crossed we can all meet some new friends in the area, beat the credit crunch and monopolise on the power of coming together and swapping favours!

P.S Don't forget we will also be organising a meet-up for everybody on Sunday the 15th in the Hub. Perhaps you fancy joining a dance class or taking part in a clothes making workshop? Remember it might be worth bringing things with you so you can negotiate an immediate live swap on the day.
